Attention: As of September 1, 2021, the State of Illinois is now requiring all Courts to use standardized court forms and no longer provide local forms for the same legal remedy (see Rule 10-101 Site). The Order of Protection and Firearm Restraint Order paperwork can be completed electronically through the Online Order of Protection (OOP) System Site. If help is needed with filling out the forms online, the OOP system lists several resources, with websites and telephone numbers, that the filer will see as they are completing the form. Any agency listed on the OOP system will assist.
